My Story

Born and raised in Taiwan, I received my education in Taiwan, Singapore, and Canada.  My background includes a Bachelor of Architecture degree from McGill University.  I worked as an architectural designer in Singapore and San Francisco before moving back to Vancouver.

Confronted by several life transitions, I began to question my value and purpose.  I became involved with community services, and volunteered as a career mentor for immigrants.  Later I decided to leave a project management position to pursuit my passion in becoming a counsellor.  I have a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from Adler University.

For several years, I had the privilege of working with individuals and families of immigrants and refugees as a Child and Youth Mental Health Counsellor in a multicultural community services organization.  As a father with two children in the family, I bring both practical experience and a commitment to developing strength in children and harmony in families.  I am a public speaker and have facilitated many workshops on marriage, parenting, cross cultural issues in local communities.  I have helped over 200 clients with a wide range of challenges, and I am passionate in continue to support individuals and families to heal and to grow.
